Regional Construction Firm
Rapidly Reviewing 15 Construction Projects for Onsite Performance
A regional construction firm engaged Ankura to review 15 construction projects spread across the Middle East to evaluate procedures in six key areas: the construction contract itself, payment application, claims management, contract variation management, cost value reconciliations (CVR), and central information management. Ankura deployed 10 experienced consultants across the 15 locations to assess onsite performance on the same day of the request. Ankura’s investigation found that most projects were over-reporting value by including unapproved claims and variations, and also that margins were over-inflated during reporting of results at management level.
